Koguma Luminaire
The Koguma Lamp is part of a special group of lamps, where the exercise of different crafts takes place intensely. Joinery, metallurgy, foundry, jewelry, that is, the crafts are present.
The Koguma Lamp is formed by a large dome (ø 95cm) of turned wood. The wood is from an old mango tree that fell by the wind in the municipality of Itu – SP. In this same dome are some holes, which can be called defects; actually features of the life of that ancient tree.
The central structure is made of reclaimed Peroba Rosa, also turned.
The base of a tripod form is made of turned steel, laser-cut, showing a beautiful fit, and great craftsmanship.
