I believe that the Poltrona Astúrias is the most emblematic and representative piece of Atelier Carlos Motta’s concepts.
It is a synthesis of everything we believe in and that has always guided us.
Reclaimed wood, very few industrial inputs (only glue and screw), timelessness, simple and chic aesthetics, quality, ergonomics (comfort), longevity, and Brazilian identity.
For its beauty and simplicity, it is widely copied all over the world.
From this armchair, naturally comes the Asturias Line, extending the same concept as the armchair for Sofa, Chaise Longue, and Ottoman.
The Asturias Rocking Lounge Chair is part of the permanent collection of MUDE (Museum of Design and Fashion) – Lisbon, Portugal
