The São Paulo Chair was designed in 1982.
The concept is simple, basic – a stool with a backrest stuck in the seat. The chair is nice and soon won over the public.
It has a very characteristic constructive technique and for that reason, it ended up pulling other items with the same identity – chair with armrest, high chair, low and high stool, tables, and the entire children’s line.
Despite its simplicity, it is a reference of Brazilian design, winning several awards, participating in important exhibitions around the globe, it is part of museum collections, public spaces, institutions, restaurants, and residences.
