Contemporary, the Asturias and Parati Lines were born together and with the same DNA. Designed to be produced with reused, demolition wood, mostly Peroba Rosa.
Traditionally sawn for more than a century in the same measures, Peroba Rosa is found in Brazilian civil construction in rafters with sessions of 5x6cm, 6x12cm, 6x16cm, and 6x20cm beams.
This material that will be reused arrives inside our workshop loaded with metals, nails, screws, and other hardware undergoes in a cleaning process and is ready for reuse.
The original measures of the beams were decisive in the design of the furniture, inducing the best possible use, the least number of cuts, and operations within the joinery. Little use of electricity and very little use of industrial inputs.
It was and always will be very interesting to start from this material combining comfort, quality, aesthetics, and longevity, and arrive at pieces of furniture with such Brazilian characteristics.
