Specially designed for the exhibition “Used and reused wood: Furniture by Carlos Motta”, which first happened in the Museu da Casa Brasileira, SP in 2010, along with the launch of the book “Carlos Motta – Life as I See It”. Then this exhibition went to Gallery Espasso NY, and soon after to Gallery Espasso LA.
It is a happy mix of rustic materials like rediscovered Peroba Rosa wood (demolition), the metal structure without any painting or polishing, and the leather lining of the soundboard, exactly where you will write or draw.
