In 2003 I had the great pleasure of seeing my first book published (DBA Publisher).
A nice book, sometimes naive, and with the graphics quality of my friend, Rafic Farah. The book speaks of life, woods, surf, schooling, and obviously about furniture and joinery we’ve been developed for over 30 years.
The book was launched at the Museu da Casa Brasileira, São Paulo, along with an exhibition of furniture, especially the seats, most iconic produced by us.
I really enjoyed the installation, because the beauty and delicacy of wood rested on a sort of metal tray structure filled with crushed stone, and this structure on the old wooden floor of the Brazilian House Museum. It was beautiful, educational, and with a very clear vision of the timeline, and the strength of constructive and aesthetic language we adopted since the beginning of our work.
